There is a cute little story behind this and here it goes. There was hardly any snow on the ground and I sent the kids out to play. In the front this time. I was in the house getting my littlest one ready and when I looked out I saw that the kids had dug some snow made this little snow path for their sled. They loved and had lots of fun. It is great to have older kids to come up with some of these creative ideas and have the energy to go through with it. So then we had to see how many we could fit in one little red saucer. 4 out of 8...not bad considering the saucer is quite small.

Okay, I am a little late at posting this. We made this snowbear (as the kids called it) a couple weekends ago when it was so warm. It was wonderful to be outside in such nice weather again. And now we are back the "bitter" cold and more snow on the way.

Here we are again...
another snow advisory...
this time 4-6 inches...

Yes I have to admit it is beautiful but... enough already. Just heard today that Madison has had over 30 inches already this year. We have gotten more than they have so ummm you can go from there. Larry (Drives truck for Waste Management) was pulled off the roads today at 10:30 am. He was in Spring Green it took him 2 hours to get to Madison (should only take 45 min) He made it home safely around 1:30pm.

Well, at the spare of the moment we decided to go to a hotel last weekend. I took my two little daycare girls with us. (I only have two on Fridays) We found a really nice one in Johnson Creek. Comfort Suites and it is fairly new. The kids had a lot of fun and the nice thing is, it is close to home.

1st winter storm

Well its just beginning. Our first real snow of the season.

Jaden and Mariah decided that if they put a pan outside that they could collect snow and bring it in the house and play were it was warm. Good thinking! It was very cold and windy out.

And you thought it was snowing....
..RAIN!

Well this is what our deck looked like after our snow storm on Saturday. The trees were also covered but it was dark and the pictures didn't show it. We had about a 1/2inch ice and 1 inch sleet. Our light flickered a time or two so we got out the flashlights and lite a bunch of candles. Was kind of cozy just being able to watch everything and still be warm.
