Jaden's school sing

These didn't come up in order. Jaden did a great job. The school puts on a little skit to go with each of the classes songs and Jaden had one sentence. "My Mom and Dad make me feel warm" and he had to use the microphone to say it. I was very proud of him. They expected 400 people to show up and I think they were fairly close to that. The theme of the sing was "Searching for Warmth" It was very cute.
It is hard to believe that my baby is 2 already. We took him out of his crib and put in a twin bed in Jaden's room. We thought this would be a good time to have Jaden adjust to it over the holiday break. So far things are going pretty good. Ashton need some time to learn that once you are in bed you stay there. Anyway-Ashton had 2 parties. One with G & G Clausen and the other at home with G& Papa Hehenberger. What a lucky kid! Thanks to everyone for the b-day gifts!

Wow It has been awhile again since I last blogged. A lot has happened.
I guess I need to start at Thanksgiving time...

A very busy time of year for us. We all (Kristie, Kim and Katresha and families and My Uncle and Aunt from TN) were all at my Mom and Dad's for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. I didn't get many pictures cause we were so busy. My grandpa had passed away earlier in the week and than my parents neighbor passed away the day before Thanksgiving. So we did LOTS of baking. We baked some for the neighbors wife and family and for our own to take up to wausau to share with all extended family of 60 people. So sorry no pics from that time.

Then we went to Minnesota the weekend after that to see the In-Laws. We had a wonderful time but 7-8 hours in the car with 3 kids is long enough. We had some bad roads on the way back which didn't help with the stress level and the anticipation of just getting home.

Toby is a stuffed puppy. He is stuffed with Jaden. This is a halloween costume hand me down from Austin. It is the cutest costume ever and it looks so real when you crawl. I had to take his picture, post it and see the comments!!

Meet Toby...

Ashton thought this was really fun. After the kids wash their hands there are "bubbles" in the sink. Fun times.

We had so much fun playing in the leaves.

FOX PRAIRIE HALLOWEEN PARTY 2008!!!

Brake and Jaden (above)
Jaden, Connor and Rowan (middle)
Mariah, Julia, Allie and Jaden (Bottom)

3RD PLACE!!

Jaden got third place for his jaguar pumpkin. He was pretty proud of that fact and I thought it was very much deserved. (I know I'm his mother)

Here are the munchkins. This picture was actually taken
last week before we went to Jaden's school for the
halloween party. We really lucked out with the
weather this year! We could go with NO coats or
sweatshirts. The kids had fun trick or treating
we have a plastic grocery bag full of candy. Sorry
I didn't get a picture of it. Our neighbors said that they had over 200 kids. (We were 3 of them)

We decided to paint pumpkins last night. Jaden wants to enter his into the pumpkin contest at school tonight. They are having their Halloween/Fall Festival. He worked really hard at it and came up with the whole idea himself. (I did help him figure out how to put it all together) I think it turned out pretty cute. Does anyone know what it is?
Mariah's on the otherhand had some help. She did alot of the coloring in herself, I drew the outlines and the face. Its cute!!
I was not brave enough to let Ashton even try! I know I'm a mean mom but he can do one next year.

Well it flu season again. Seems a bit early this year but to much dismay it is here. In my house 4 out of the 5 have had it and 4 of my 6 daycare kids either had it or have it now. Its the stomach flu. Jaden and Larry got over it in 1 day but Mariah and Ashton took almost a week. Today was the first day we had NO vomiting. So I am celebrating by going to my MOPS group tonight. Should be fun!!

Go to www.kjcrafts.blogspot.com to learn how to do this project. Was fun and easy for the kids to do!!
Friday we went to our first time ever Homecoming parade. It lasted all of 10 minutes but the kids enjoyed. Had a daycare come with us.

The kids were invited to a b-day party at Pump It Up this weekend. There were 25 kids there. It was pretty fun. Gave us some ideas of what we need to get and do for our inflatable business.

Sorry! Trying to catch up. Jaden is loving school. He was sick on Sunday and was very worried that he wouldn't be able to go to school. (He was fine Monday A.M. and very happy)

I really don't have a good reason for not blogging lately but.....

..there is just not enough time in a day
..my kids
..daycare kids
..bills
..laundry
..cleaning
..meals
..transporting kids--to the bus stop, from the bus stop, to tumbling and back again
..our business with inflatable jumpers is just not dying down (don't get me wrong the income is GREAT but normally this time of year we are about done. We are booked every weekend till NOVEMBER!)
..trying to get ready for Menomonie this week

This week has been especially bad. All three of my kiddo's have been sick and at the same time. Everyone was sick yesterday and today. Hopefully someone is feeling better tomorrow and someone sleeps all night tonight.

Today we stayed home all day and really didn't get much accomplished. I hate days like that When you have so much you want to get done but nothing really gets done. We hung a new light in our kitchen. It is one that my Dad sells and is REALLY bright. It is a white light. Will take some getting used to the brightness but it's up. I finally got the main level of my house cleaned after two weeks of having lots of kids here and just not being able to keep up after them. YUCK--but it looks better now. Next comes the upstairs--maybe it is just me, but I like to come home to a clean house after being gone for a while. So beside getting ready to leave I also have to get my house ready to come home. Is this crazy or what?

Soon I will post some pictures and get everyone up to date.

Thanks Stacy for the great idea!!!

Lucy...

Lucy is a turtle the one of my daycare kids brought over. The kids all thought that it was pretty neat!

Story time

My 8 year old loves to read so she told all the kids "story time in the jumper" and this is what happened.

Who loves mornings....

Ashton does. He always wakes up so happy. If only he would stay that way all day. It seems like puts all his energy into being happy first thing in the day and then here comes mister grumpy!! Oh well there could be worse things to deal with.

Last night we went for a bike ride and we found a bunch of baby frogs. The red and blue caps are milk jug covers and we put a little bit of water in them. The kids collected as many ants as they could find(notice the ant on the bottom left of the picture next to the frog) and added some grass. They are still alive this morn. all 10 of them. I think we will let them go tonight. Jaden is already sad about that.

JULY 4, 2008

Ice cubes in the pool instead of water. The kids loved it!!

Just after eating ice cream. (Nice mouth)

The beautiful roses are from my kids for my b-day. The Yellow ones are from Jaden, Pink from Mariah and Red from Ashton. I love roses but they don't last long enough. Larry gave a gift certificate to Escape Du Monde for a massage. I can't wait to use it.

HAPPY 60TH DAD/PAPA

Surprise!! Happy 60th on June 23rd.

These pictures were take a couple weeks after all the flooding. I love rainbows! I was trying out our new camera on this and think they turned out pretty good. Did you notice the double rainbow in the bottom picture?
I am a little behind on blogging so bare with me as I try to catch up.
Larry and the kids on Father's day!
